Alright, so I'm trying to set up a wifi connection for my DS Lite and I'm getting the error code 51099 when I go to test the connection. I went over to nintedos site and found out that this was a DSi -specific error code, can someone help?

Make sure that the internet connection is set to WEP or WPA.

 

I'm not really in control of this stuff. My dad tried to set this up yesterday. He says he'll try again tomorrow.

But why does it show a DSi specific message?

Mario Kart DS. I was in the Wifi connection settings.

 

It is probably the security for sure. Not sure why that specific code showed up though.
