To plagiarize something is to use a text/quote et cetera without permission (like jumping onto Wikipedia.com and copying everything on to your ... i dunno... 4th of July project or something.) Erm, no.
plagiarism is a fancy word for taking credit for other people's work. In school you get yelled at for copying someone else's work, and you get a bad mark and possibly detention. At university, it's called plagiarism, and you could quite possibly fail your entire course for it.
I think in almost every country (at least us western courtries) that is an offence... Other wise let me know of those who don't.

The irate gamer doesn't know much about video games, more specifically about SMB2, there is no mystery, Nintendo just used Doki Doki Panic as Mario Bros 2 because they though the 'Lost Levels' were too hard for the North American populace.
