After downloading 3 games and putting it on the memory stick, it seems that the PSP can't find them. It just says "There are no games". My PSP is the 1000(fat) with version 5.00 and 4gb memory stick.

Also, I heard the some new UMDs "detect" downloaded ISOs. The only recent game I bought (legally) was Dissidia.

So, how am I suppose to remedy this problem?

    Thanks in advance

You need to hack your PSP first before you're able to play any downloaded games.

If you don't have Pandora battery, then you should use the ChickHen method.
First by updating your firmware to 5.03, install ChickHen, and then install any CFW that you want.
Just follow this step by step tutorial.

Sorry for the misinformation, but if my PSP is version 5.50 then I could skip the step of updating it to 5.0, right? And what's the MagicGate on the information of my memory stick?

    Thanks in advance.

If your firmware is above 5.03, then you have to buy a Pandora Battery, and use this method to hack your PSP.
just make sure to read it carefully.

If the MagicGate says 'Supported', then your Memory Stick is the original one, if it say 'Unknown' or anything else, then it is a fake.

Yet another question, can an "Unknown" memory stick can be turned into a "magical memory stick"?

    Thanks in advance.

version3 Is actually KappaMikey in the internet

The question should be, IS YOUR PSP HACKED?

Cause you can't run ISOs without Custom Firmware, ate

EDIT: What is a magical memory stick, I have a PSP, but I never heard of the term before.

A "Magic Memory Stick" is a term used for a memory stick which has the files on it to install Custom Firmware using your Pandora Battery. You can use programs like PSPGrader to create a Magic Memory Stick.

Since you are currently on OFW 5.50, you will need:

    A Pandora Battery.

A Pro Duo memory stick (which you already have).
A Magic Memory Stick program like PSPGrader.

Connect the memory stick to your PC. Run PSPGrader (it has instructions).
Place the memory stick in your PSP.
Place the Pandora battery in your PSP.
    Follow the instructions.

Well, Tirith has explained it, though I'm not quite sure if it works on the fake Memory Stick.
