They are not the stupidest people in history, gavilatius. There are a lot of other people. It seems that Mr. Obama has not done much for your country of U.S., but so far he hasn't screwed up big time. And as a Canadian, I sorta support the medicare thing. Most developed countries have that system, you know.
As for me, the stupidest person could be... Sam Hughes. Must be some other fellow, but can't remember.
Sam Hughes thought that shovels with big holes in the centre could act as shields.

Napoleon Bonaparte was pretty smart for a strategist and tactician, but was stupid when it came to commerce, he sold Jefferson the entire Louisiana Purchase for 16 Million dollars.

 

They thought the land was useless... Although 16 million dollars is not close to its real value nowadays, people then did not think so. Jefferson was criticized for the deal in that period, you know?
