IBM might be mad not to take up AMD, my first ever pc was an IBM aptiva system with an AMD core (and i'm pretty sure it had ati graphics). it was the best rig i've ever had, and i would kill for a partnership like that again. how could this company just stand back and allow intel to just crush them like this? even their phenom black edition pales in comparison... they have a killer new chipset and a very good performing graphics card - and IBM have serious expertice in teh chip market, they've shrunk the cell to 45 nanometers, they could easily take AMD and their phenom and rework tehe sh*t out of it
