No not the Sims 2, 3 or anything related to that, just The Sims.

    I can't boot it.

I have The Sims Makin' Magic (Abracadabra here) as startup disc,

I tried installing a few more expansion packs, but they don't seem to work right.

When I try to boot, it asks me if I want to uninstall The Sims Makin' Magic (Abracadabra).

I ran an update so it could update my installation of the Sims (asked at startup), and that was successful.

I have The Sims Deluxe edition.

    Any help please :'(

the game may not be compatible with vista considering how old it is.

Have you tried running the basic game with no expansion packs installed?

Try using a crack to run it!

I have the real CD and the real Serial, all expansion packs...so why use a crack?

BTW The CD works fine. It's just that issue.

I'm getting a new pc tomorrow, so maybe that'll play the game right.

This problem occurs if the computer shuts off during installation or if you try to cancel the installation. It happened to me, and it was never able to be resolved.

You can't uninstall it because it's not installed, and you can't install it because it's not uninstalled.

I did not shut off the computer nor try to cancel the installation.
