Everyone knows about when a baby Kangaskhan dies, it becomes a Cubone, right? Well, it's true! The R/B games intended for Marowak to evolve into a adult Kangaskhan. In last minute changes they decided Kangaskhan would be the only pokemon without evolution. But the time it would take to rewrite the code would be troublesome and consuming, so they moved it to an empty spot.

    Without a number.

    MISSINGNO.(or 'm)

    mind blown

what? no. You're talking out of your ass. Missingno is a test subject 'Pokemon' used to debug the game. besides, your story is flawed. Kangaskhan isn't the only pokemon without and evolutionary level. Try Snorlax, or any Legendary.

Really??... How stupid... You disgrace the name Pokemon.

    That is the truth....

    This was a popular theory on a different message board, the theory was somewhat like this;

When a baby kengaskhan loses its mother, it will become a cubone.

The purple skin will change to a brownish colour because of malnutrition, the kid will likely resort to cannibalism to feed itself, and uses the skull of his deceased mother as head protection.

Popular contradictions are that this cannot be true; the eyes are a different colour, cubone has a thumb, the skull lacks the general shape of a kengaskhan.

This could be explained by last time changes due to game coding restricting split evolutions.

    Makes sense to me.

I knew about the name, but this makes more sense than just messy coding scraps.

Yes, MissingNo looked a lot like a ghost type Pokemon... The theory of this'

Is flawed in sooooo many ways.

The ghost of lavender tower was rumored to be a diseased marowak itself aswell right?
There was a better discussion about it somewhere else.

I agree though, I, myself, do not believe this speculation.

The ghost of Lavender tower IS the ghost of Mama Marowak.

The baby kenghaskan threory isn't even worthy of being a theory. It's like having Charmander evolve into Charmeleon in the show but have it evolve into Rick Ashley in the game.

He could very well have mated with a charmander, being no stranger to love and all.

but when you catch the level 0 one and make it level up then it evolves into Kangaskhan.

really? cuz mine just looked like a bunch of graphical garbage...

and chansey didnt have a evolution either along with Scyther, Pinsir and alot of others not just Snorlax and the 4 legends...

i liked the "theory" about the Cubone haha i thought the same thing back in the day

it evolves into a random pokemon and then crashes your game. Its a debug symbol.

If you teach your missingno fly, then evolve it you get a flying Kangaskhan...

/b/ has taught me a lot of usless stuff about missingno.
