The Scariest game you have ever known???

Put yur scariest gaame here in any console PC Gamecube DS I don't care just keep posting the more the merrier

 

Resident evil, the first one

 

The only scary resident evil for me is RE 4 i don't like the special enemies in the game like The chainsaw freak and The claws.

Second for me is Silent Hill Origins

In-game specs
Scariest place: Cedar grove Sanitarium
Scariest boss: The butcher (he almost gave me a heart attack...)

 

Resident Evil (the 1st one), Dino Crisis and Fatal Frame

 

Silent hill origin arent that scary....but its bad for your heart (if you get what i mean)

 

I must say Resident evil 3 was scary the first play through. The nemesis always give me a shocl whenever he appears. And I think the first silent hill is the scariest of all silent hill series, as the later ones are more or less recreation of the first one which gets boring over time.

Also dementium: the ward for DS is pretty sweet (scary) especially when playing with good headphones up real loud. The crazy baby noises are the best

 

Super Mario Brothers. He is constantly running, jumping, etc..,yet he is a plumber. He NEVER loses weight. And I suspect that game was just playing through mario's 'trip' on 'shrooms. Scares the hell out of me

I played a japanese game yesterday that scared the shit outta me, mainly because I couldnt understand it and didnt know what was about to happen at any point during the game, also in surround sound at 2am. Made for interesting play.

 

What do you do in the game???? and try playing scary games starting 12:00 Am it will scare the hell out of you.
one day while i was playing silent hill on the ps2 around 12 Am my mind thinks that the enemies there are watching me on my back.........

Well for me its land of the dead and Resident evil 4 and ummm... thats all i can think

 

gotta go with doom, scares the crap out of you when you play in a dark room ^_^
doom 3 has the same effect...
resident evil 4 made me jump once or twice too
I dont think the first 3 resident evils are that scary just because of the viewpoint, its kinda like a overheard view...room movement was a little odd too

i've just been playing bioshock using headphones. now that was a little bit freaky

 

I gotta go with Silent Hill 1 & Fatal Frame as those games have monsters that are not scientifically, genetically created

Also, Silent Hill plays on the notion of "Urban legend scary tales" & fatal frame, obviously plays on Asian horror flicks

 

I've played many scary games such as FEAR and Silent Hill, Resident Evil etc. but the scariest has got to be Final Fantasy VIII. The ending. I finished it when I was very young. Not sure if it'll scare me now though.

 

FEAR was ok, but only if you like "jump" scary. Also the Silent Hill games, System Shock 2, Eternal Darkness, Fatal Frame, Condemned, Alone in the Dark, and Clyde Barkers Undying. I always like to play scary games in the dark with the volume up real loud. I thinkn that sums most of mine up

 

I once had a survival horror games marathon, playing 8 hours straight per day, I started with Parasite Eve on a monday night then ending with Silent Hill on a Sunday, and what's most ironic was I did this during the lenten week ;D
