Well I;m having some R4 issues with a cartridge from a friend of mine. So I formatted the card, and placed the kernel and the games etc, but when I started up the R4 and went to the game menu the games loaded fine, but the screen froze. I kept formatting, putting different games each time, but every time i would start, it would freeze at the game menu. Can someone help? He has an R4 revolution upgrade, the same as mine, with the same kernel as me, and nearly the same games, but his isn't working, and we've both had them for a year without a single problem. Help!
try swapping the micro sds around to see if its the micro sd or the cartridge. If its the cartridge you will need to get a new card If its the microsd you may need to get a new one due to it still not working after those formats.
