i noticed that nintendo and 360 has been in great competition against the ps3 and noticed that many ps3 users and fanboys are expecting big sales of the consoles when metal gear solid 4 guns of the patriots is released. what other then that, what would propel sales for sony's future consoles knowing that the metal gear solid series is coming to an end?! at the current trend, no metal gear solid games, is this what is to be expected in the future for sony's console sales?! square enix's rpg legacies, final fantasy xxxxx and such, will go so far and it could shift to the 360 or the wii. upon such as shift, what then would the console do to compete with it's competitors?! there are ps3 only games like uncharted and lair, but their appeal never fully pushed consumers into make big purchases. knowing that companies are creating games that are for all system including handhelds, what would be sony's push for their direction rather then the direction of nintendo's or 360's for the future?! btw, does anyone know if the japanese like fps games as much as the europeans or the americans?!
judging by the number of rpgs coming from japan I'd say thats their favourite genre, most FPSes seem to come from the US.
