pokecommunity has the best toutorial in the toutorial section under rom hacking. -http://www.pokecommunity.com- use this current thread for tech questions, as well as to load youre custom edited tiles (.bmp only)
Toutorial: how to make custom tiles the easy way. 1. Open your rom in advance map 2. click on the puzzle piece 3. on youre options, select save tileset image. if you did it right, it will save as a bmp. 4. open in paint, and use this rule: only use colors currently on the tile. 5. submit to romulation in this thread!
