The PMD2 ROMs

When I did a partial download of the PMD2 ROM to check it's interior, I found more than just the usual nds file. I found an extra one?
I know some sites report the IP of users who download ROMs, so, I'm concerned this may be one. Why would there be more than the nds file?

Okay, just download the whole file, and which one did you download exactly? Time or Darkness.

 

its likely to just be a txt file or an nfo file of some sort.

 

I did a partial download of Time. I cut the download after ten seconds.
The extra file was a .nfo file. Why would that be there? And, how do I know the extra ones won't report me? People can lie, you know.
Exactly what is a .nfo file?

 

Basically, if you open it with Notepad, it tells you information about the rom and the dumpers etc. If you get the roms from here, you will be safe.

Yes, I figured that out after I did some research on nfo files. I really do need to research before I act like an idiot. You guys are lifesavers. As I stated above, now I have my sprites!
