The Petition Game

This game is just like the "Ban" games where you ban people &/or other things & give a brief reason why you ban said person or stuff.

But this time around you petition or vouche for something &/or someone & state why you like or support said thing.

Just a reminder though, this is just a game so don't put your hopes up of your petition being granted & such, & DEFINITELY NOTHING hurtful to others!

I petition for legally hosting ROMs on the internet.

Oh the OLPC "One Laptop Per Child" movement thing? We've also got an NPO (non-profit Organization) here that wants to go through with that. I'm just curious about this though, first the OLPCs look like kid's toys.



Second, I heard they were going to use non-Microsoft based OS-es & programs to run in them, mostly open-source stuff. So I was wondering, if they did put that in the OLPCs & the children master using them, how will it benefit them when they finally get a job where the PC framework is either Windows or Mac Based?

 

I actually agree with the idea of the government acting on its own (if it at all really could) to make computers & the internet accesible for everyone rich & poor because it's pretty obvious that these things are the modern day equivalent of when the pen & paper was invented.

 

I petition our life to be turned into a MMORPG game with weapons and magic.

I can just imagine Born2killx giving out due punishment by killing a grammar offender 10,000 over by waiting & killing the offender at the exact same spot where his character revives in the game ;D

I didn't know there was a term for that, I just remembered the Make love not Warcraft episode in South Park with your response to hahahahaha's post. And yes, I know if Born2killx did have that kind of power he'd come after me too cause I really suck at spelling.

I petition for a cheese, yes real smelly cheese, not cheese inspired or pattern imprinted/designed clothes only dress code in Business office districts.

 

My science teacher from last year bought an OLPC. She asked me and a friend to connect her to the school's Wi-Fi network. Apparently, whoever made the laptop did not give us any way to connect to a hidden network, and eventually we gave up. We might have been able to do it from the terminal, but I didn't know the command thingies. :
