I will probably watch it when it comes on TV. But I won't go to the theaters to see it.

I do own the DVDs for the animated series though. It's a surprisingly good series, given what network it came from.

You know what... It actually was a pretty good show.

Definitely not interested in seeing the move, though. Live-action adaptations for animated films... I've had bad experiences with those, haha.

    Live-action, apparently. See here.

Kind of funny, I was looking up some of the actors/actresses. And they chose Aasif Mandvi (from The Daily Show) for Commander/Admiral Zhao. That's going to be odd.

No, I'm not. It's really going to be him.
    Check IMDB.

    M. Night was flamed early on when initial rumors came out about who he was choosing, and it was a mostly white cast (Who knows if they were his real choices though). People wanted minorities, so it appears that he's going for the dark skinned people. Except for Katara's actress... for some reason they chose some unknown white jailbait to play her, even though she's one of the characters in the show that is actually dark skinned.

    Some?

I think most of the movie will be CG. :p

I will possible be seeing this movie if I feel like it.

M Night's movies are either REALLY good, or REALLY horrible.

    is he a bad director?

    No, he's a good director.
It's just the plots of his movies and some of the actors.

    Good Movies:
    The Village
    The Sixth Sense
    Signs

    Bad Movies:
    The Happening
    Lady in the Water

Not sure about Avatar The Last Airbender though.

I noticed that. It's weird. I don't think any viewer will fail not to notice that.

    Ummm...

It says it doesn't come out till July.

We're talking about Avatar the Last Airbender.

    Not Jame's Cameron's Avatar... :p

    There's a BIG difference there.

Besides I already have Jame's Cameron's Avatar on DVD.

Ace, you listed The Village and Signs as his good movies. Shame on you.
The only movies of his I liked were Sixth Sense, and to a lesser extent Unbreakable just because of the actors.

    The Village, completely dumb.
    Signs,
Really? A somewhat advanced alien race wants to invade earth, and is harmed by water, which happens to make up roughly 75% of the surface of the planet, and rougly 2-5% of the air? You'd think it'd be pretty fucking obvious that water existed on the planet.
The Happening, wow, R rated, big whoop (they played that R rating way too much).
Lady in the Water, yawn fest with no real ending...

    You're right... :p

The Village would have been much better if it wasn't for the stupid "twist" ending (even though it was revealed pretty much right away).
