Re: Your Brains Jonathan Coulton for the same reason dancubs chose Queen. That, and a lot of his songs are about nerdy things. Oh, he also wrote "Still Alive" for Portal, which is worth major awesome points in my book.

i have the album... they're a good band, but to call them the greatest band is going a tad too far imo.
I don't think Pop Idols or groups qualifies as bands. A Band is an ensemble of musicians. Miley Cryus therefore cannot be a band. Even vocal ensembles must have at least be a duo to be considered as a band. (also Musicians plays a key factor. The greatest band is probably Vienna Philharmonic because they are the best musicians. To even enter Vienna Philharmonic would be almost impossible without real hard work and understanding of music, music theory, music history, and your own instrument. It's really stringent. I think it qualifies all the criteria for a band, a very large band (also called Orchestra). (No joke either, takes 3 years just to prove yourself worthy of submitting an application!)
