DISCLAIMER:the game is due on the 25th this month form Australia and other effected countries, for America and those on the same bracket it's the 24th Yes, who here has this game on pre-order/waiting to buy it on launch day? I got the signiture edition waiting for me, and once i boot the game, Im buying me an mitsubishi lancer evo 3/6 as my starter (yep-the cars with the signiture Im going to hold back until I find a suitable race for them XD), hopefully in satilite silver/jet black. What say you people?
GT? I couldn't even get my driver's license on the last one. freakin impossible. I wonder how hard it would be this time.
Its been so long since GT4 I can't remember what its like! Seriously, this game was advertised as coming soon about 4 years ago. I have no doubt it will be awesome, maybe its time to get a ps3.
Who knows, but with trophies related to the licences I believe it'll be easier... I got them all but S on gt2, and gt4 I had up to international b, but all bronze times
I have gold on all licences on all games. I still have my ps1 and ps2 memory cards with the data on but no console to put them in.
My friend judt reminded me I was wrong. There is 1 gold on GT2 I never got. Its the one where you drive the alfa around the rome circuit, there is an error with the time. I actually beat the time and never got gold or did I beat the ghost car and that wasn't even fast enough to get gold? I can't remember exactly but its definately an error on the game. If I could get on it I would find out.
GRAN TURISMO 5 IS OUT TOMMORO! YES PEOPLE TOMMORO IS THE DAY!! ...now I seen some vids, it's changed in many places...but a few are just like the former games... It'll be the gt we know and love, this is all I know.
Is this worth getting, I've read some reviews and they're a mixed bunch. They all agree that the driving physics are pretty amazing, but the loading times, lack of customization and the premium cars thing lets the game down.
Well, the game isnt bad, but it's not actually up to the 5 year hype. Im enjoying it, I dont care for the premium cars too much (the ones I like the msot have the most impossible to drive with cockpits, NO view space), the load times I can bare with (though they are there even after the full 8gb install), the options of mods are the same as gt4...but without brakes for some reason (you can edit brake settings but not upgrade them...) As for visual mods, some areo kits are there for use (bumps, wings) but nothing like a nfs game, and the rim change/paint is only for SOME premium cars (yep-standard cars you cant change, and only some premium cars can be change...ones like the f1 cars are obvious). If you are unsure wait until the price goes down nex, honestly you need to play this game for a bit to know what's going on...gt5 prologue certainly has nothing on this.
