I keep getting messages like "The data could not be read. Turn off the power and reinsert the game cartridge." when trying to use ROMs with the No$gba emulator. I am extremely new to this, and my be missing something obvious, but please help me.

    Okay. Thank you.

Edit: Okay I did that and got the same problem. Is there anything else that could be happening?

What games are you trying to play?

Go into the Emulation Setup and make sure the Backup Media is set to Auto. This should be the default setting for 2.6a

Tercac... a Nintendo 64 Emulator is not going to help this person play Nintendo DS games.

I'm trying to play Ryuusei no Rockman 3. I didn't know what it said in Japanese so I tried getting a few english ones to see what they said. If it matters I have Vista. I got the ROMs here at RomUlation. I may have somehow picked the only non-working ROMs, but that seems unlikely. I may try to see if another game will work.

Oh wait it's because it's DS. GBA games work fine. I need a DS Emulator. Well this no longer needs answearing, unless No$GBA is supposed to do DS games.

It doesn't matter about the OS. It's just incompatible then. no$gba is a NDS emulator as well, it's just the name hasn't changed. Don't assume.
