Hey. I have an essay topic: "The very best of humanity is possible even in the most trying of circumstances" and i wanted to get everyone's opinion on this. To get people thinking i have so far: • Bruno and Schmuel’s friendship
• Bruno learning that the maids have lives as well
• Gretel and Bruno become better friends over their parents’ fighting

Thanks and i hope that everyone will read and then watch this fantastic book by John Boyne.

 

I am guessing you want us to locate these books are start giving some opinions for your work?

It's a shame that I hardly read outside of romUlation and sci fi/horror

This sounds like high school homework or something, in which case you should probably be doing it on your own.

Lol, thanks guys. Nah, i'm just after other peoples opinions so what else could i put into this essay topic other than the ones already listed because the Holocaust is really interesting.

 

Ah, well, I'm more of the opinion that the very worst of humanity tends to shine through rather than the very best, so perhaps my opinion isn't really valid here.
