the big 18

so many think 18 is the year where you get to let loose, when your officially an adult...
Having just turned 18 a week ago or something, the only thing I've really noticed is that now I can vote (oh the joy -.-)
I'll vote anyways, but it won't make a difference, seeing as how my area is liberal (in canada we have 3 main...well 4 main parties, conservative, liberal, NDP, and the bloc quebecois)...and its not like the votes for anything other than liberal matter, because there's just so many people who vote that way here...
anyways, 18 hasn't impacted my life in any way that I can tell, whats your take on this?

I don't think that 18 is the age that you let loose. I think its the age when you start college/university, for me that's 17.
Now that your 18, you'll be held accountable for all your crimes hehe. anyway, happy belated.

 

yeah, that was the one thing I was thinking...now I can be tried as an adult no matter what O.O
are there any perks to 18 or is it all downhill like it sounds

 

lol here in NZ we cut loose way before we are 18, however at 18 you can go clubbing and buy alcohol and shit, its sweet if your into that kind of thing, but either way its still nice being able to go to the pub with your mates and have a beer or two. 21 in november, 21 is the age that you officially become an adult lol.

18 is supposed to be the age where you take on the world on your own, exploring yourself & being responsible for your actions, weither good or bad they may be 8)

 

You're an adult when you stop acting like a child....
Thus, many people never become adults...
