The Best Sword in Anime

I personally think that the Blade used in Blood+ is pretty unique and slim, but again, there has to be blood in order to use it.
But as a Top 5 sort of thing here are my picks;


- Sia's Blade = Blood+
- Ichigo's Hollow Bankai = Bleach
- Kusanagi Blade = Naruto (I am truly not a huge fan on it but I like it's ablity to morph back and forth from snake to steel.)
- Rainbow Blade = Chrono Trigger
- Fierce Diety Link's Blade = Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Kuchiki Byakuya's Bankai, Senbonzakura Kageyoshi, is one of the best I've seen.
Then again, Kurosaki Ichigo's Bankai, Tensa Zangetsu is just as grand.

One completely underrated blade, however is also from Bleach. I do forget the wielder's name, but it is only a Shikai (I haven't seen this man use a Bankai), called Wabisuke. Then again, with a blade like this, who needs a Bankai?

i always thought it was funny that Ichigo's Bankai sword's hilt was actually the Kanji for "bankai"

It's a little redundant.

I agree with the guy who said Iduru Kira's wabisuke. It doubles to the weight of everything it hits, every time it hits it. So he can keep on doubling it up and Make it so people can't move and are crushed by their own weight. The only drawback is that he has a defensive sword style and is not very quick, and the only reason that Matsumoto beat him was because he sword can break into tiny dust particles.

I actually bought BOTH of the DS versions.

 

Don't know much about anime personally, but those two swords are nice.

I might just have to invest in one of them.

 

ROFL, All of those swords fail massively and pale in comparison to the Ideon Sword from Space Runaway Ideon. It literally cleaves a planet in two.

Yes, but they're all Baffukran people (Some alien race) trying to kill the people piloting the Solo Ship and the Ideon. Note: The Ideon is basically a god. It has unlimited power and ends up destroying the universe. I'm not kidding.

 

But you can't really call that a sword, right? It's just a really big energy beam.

well if you guy are not restringthing anime only, i whould have say Leon's GunBlade from FF8...

if for anime, I should say Vampire Blade from Shakugan no Shana and Shana's Katana is also nice....(nothing fancy..it look the same as all other Katana >.>)
