Every now and then, there is an ad in the middle under the first post of a topic. I noticed that...while loading the page only the first post shall show and the ad. During the times I don't see this ad, I activly see the rest of the replies load (as I prefer rather than read some ad). I'm aware that we need these ads to keep the site going, but is it nessacary to have them in forum post? Now the first thought in my mind was my crappy internet, but normally facebook would load 15 seconds slower...now it's 15 seconds faster to load. My guess is the ad ethier forces the viewer to watch it as the rest loads, or it uses up bandwidth that I could have on other things such as downloads from here. I don't expect much to happen, but I suppose (while several questions are being asked if you can pick them out) why are these ads only in the middle of forum post sometimes?
I've got no problems with the adds. In fact I'd rather see them within threads then have them flashing all over the landscape of the forum. Adds are just too good a way of making money to not use them just because of slower loading pages.
I've already asked the admin about it, but they can't disable it. and I'm in the same situation with yours. crappy net. ;D Oh well, all we can do is to live with it. (although I'm hoping for a better option)
You could donate them the money that they would've made from the adds, that would make them remove it. Or you could be like me, and just deal with it.
It's more or less a pain in the spam thread P ) because you have to be quick or otherwise 10 replies would fly buy. I'd have paid for premium now if not for the sheer instability of my net. Still, there are questions I hope can be answered... -WHy is it there only sometimes? -Is the way the ad loads delibrate? While I'm here, I have another question I hope get's read. I've been trying to contact another romU user here, but their delay in replies ethier something is wrong with the pm system for some reason on their side, or something else. If they are online, and the don't respond...and yet respond after posting off topic in a forum post, it kinda means something...could it be the settings?
Yeah, I'm trying my best to deal with it, Site Maintainer. Let see how I can go through with it for 7 days. XD
Actually, it was a mistake it wasn't like this already, for some reason it had got disabled. Lost out on a lot of ad impressions. =/

OK, I'm fine with ads on the romulation site but isn't putting ad posts in EVERY TOPIC a little much? I know rom-u has gotta keep going, but one ad almost gave me a virus. It's slowing my comp down, almost virusing me, and makes me ready to quit rom-u.
Get a proper anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-spyware program. Romulation tries to keep (and does a very good job of keeping) dangerous ads off the site. If you ever have a problem with an ad, report it. Include the URL of the ad, etc.
