So it seems the infamous shoulder button fault is finally upon me. I'm aware of the blowing method but are there any other possible ways to fix it manually?

Without the L button I'm screwed in games like Megaman Zero/ZX/ZXA and especially Jam with the Band.

It worked for me when I put my DS Lite all the way back, a full 180 degrees. But, since I have a new DS Lite, a crimson one, I'm not having this problem.

All the way back? You mean putting the screen back as far as it could go?

Yes. At least, it worked for me. I'm not sure about you.

Actually, my DS Top Screen was in fact all the way far when the L button started to malfunction (Reason I do so is because the screen is suffering flickering issues and putting it back abates them).

Thanks for the suggestion; however I was able to slightly fix the issue by the blowing method and using the DSPHAT method of using a wet qtip to wipe the contact points. I think if I do it regularly I can prevent the L Button from malfunctioning.

    Thanks for the help anyway.
