I doubt you are doing anything wrong, it is a problem with the program. Try running it in windows 98 compatibility mode.

right click the .exe file, go to 'properties', compatability tab and select windows 98 in the list. Out of the checkboxes, tick all of them.

    Temporal Flux, huh.

If I recall correctly, you need your .NET framework updated in order to use it.

If that doesn't help, I'd suggest asking here

    think about it, dude!
Chrono Trigger is one of the most famaus (and best) games EVER! i really wanna make a prequel, about him growin up! it wood rule!!!!

Oh and i have run into some utha problems
the following Chrono Trigger Hacking programs will not work on my computer:

    ChronoTexteditor
    Chrono Tweaker
    CT Editing Companion
    CT Item Name Editor
    Chrono Trigger Shopkeeper
    Gears-Text Editor
and thats it! all of the above files (and, of course, Temporal Flux) say they need some sort of file (always different) with the file extension ".OCX" what does this mean!?

also theres one program that works but i cant load the rom...
its called CT Shop, and when i try to load up the rom, it says:
"File incorrect size! Must be expanded to 48MBit (6 MB) Unheadered ExHiROM."
WHAT THE!? *famous Rove McManus quote*
any way id apreciate it if these questions where answerres

OCX files are windows system files. There are sites that allow you to download missing OCX files, so if installing and updating the .net framework doesnt help you could try manually downloading the missing files and adding them to your windows\system32 folder.
