Tekken.

I'm not sure about this... It's a game where you're able to get beat up by a WOMAN. I don't think they should be allowed to do this.

Anyways, I picked up Tekken at a garage sale and I'm wondering how you're supposed to play the game. The opponents kill me in two hits before I even get to lay a hand on them.

It's like Street Fighter. You're supposed to memorize moves and combos and stuff.

 

Tekken 2 isn't that hard...I got it.

Just smash the buttons and wish that you're lucky

So the strategy is to memorize what moves do and how to counter them?

 

Not really. The more you play, the more you know the combos and such. The game has emphasize on Air-Comboing.

 

The difficulty curve in this game is amazingly different from street fighter.

Just Kick a lot. It's ridiculously powerful and not too delayed.

 

I played Tekken 3,4 Tekken Tag and Tekken 5.

It was actually very easy and got me interested in Nina's spin-off "Death by degrees".
