Tattoos, Do you like em' or hate em'?

Since there's a piercings thread shouldn't we talk about tattoos too?

I personally don't like them, unless they're those temporary stamp on kinds or Henna tattoos that wash off or fade away in time. Even those "permanent" make-up tattoos women are into these days don't sit well with my tastes.

 

The process isn't that painful nowadays with modern tattoo artist tools, or so people with tattoos say.

But another concern here would be health risks, because you could get things like Hepatitis or even the HIV if your tattoo artist, or in some cultures the village Shaman does not practice proper needle replacement/disposal.

 

I'd like to have tatoo, but I don't know how should it look...
I only know where should it be - on the face, near the eye, smth like Tyson's

Also, I think sexy girls with nice (not too much, with taste) tatoos are twice as sexy as they normally are ;D

 

One major down-side to having tattoos has something to do with finding a job

Most employment Agencies, especially for white collar job positions frown upon piercings & tattoos which is very elitist & biased

Hate em after i heard in the Blood drive in our school a project of the Red Cross that having a tattoo prevents you from donating blood. Something to do with the chemical or or the needle in the blood. Well, that was one of the questions they asked, if you have any piercings or tattoos.

Don't have problem with them, but I won't be having one.

 

I remember i always wanted to tattoo my forearms when i was in highschool. But nowadays i don't really care that much about it. Plus it's expensive

I think tattoos can look good, but I don't think I'll be getting one. I'm really fickle and get bored easily for something as permanent as a tattoo.

And I think tattooing your boyfriend's/girlfriend's name on your body is downright stupid.

 

Especially if there is a chance of a break up

 

I think everybody should get a tattoo that says : Miss_G <3
