    Why do some programs not open at their pinned location.
    Safari, for example, opens up but uses another icon. But Windows Explorer doesn't. Using 7

    Can't help, but can't resist asking these;
    I don't understand the need to use cross programs, you're on Win 7 but run Safari browser, why?
    Its like, you are dating girl A, but can't keep your eyes off girl B. Make up your mind, will you....

    When you mean 'some programs', what are they? Are all that didn't open, programs developed by Mac/Apple?
    Are those 'programs' even compatible with Win 7? Eg. Is it meant for 32bit or 64bit? Do you always need to
    choose 'run as admin' in order for those 'programs' to run?

    I assume you mean taskbar grouping. IIRC you need a certain number of windows open before that happens.
