    Hello ;D,

Recently I bought a second hand Tamagotchi V4. I eventually decided to mod it. I opened it up to try and change the screen at the front, but later chose not to. On the same day I tired again, but a screw in the bottom right hand of the circuit was bolted in. I tried to unscrew it, but later, idiotically, tried to pull the screen out through the front, and tore the rubber which connects the the screen to the circuit board, so the image can come up. I later searched through my things and found a blue Tamagotchi V4.5. I tried to open it, in order to obtain the working screen, but the bottom right screw wouldn't come out, this time on the plastic layer just before the circuit board.

So my question is: Can I remove the tiny screws on the circuit board and the plastic layer outside of the Tamagotchi. I will note I don't care what happens to the blue V4.5, as long as I can get the white on working. Thank you, and if the white one's screwed, just tell me.

I should note that the blue one is a Familitchi Model.

how do you want to mod it anyway? i see no reason for you even trying to open it. you cant make it better. the only thing you could probably do is change speed-

By speed you mean de-bugging, yes? Well, I was just looking at Tamagotchi things, when I saw a modding forum, I looked at it, looked up a few guides, and decided to do it myself. I wanted it to look like Great A'tuin from the Discworld novels. The shell of the Tamagotchi would be the shell of Great A'tuin, while the inside screen would be the disc itself. I really wanted to mod it to make it my own, that's the only reason.

    It is listed as unknown.

Correction: While Great A'tuin's gender is unknown, it is often listed as a 'he'.
