Just trying to confirm this problem considering this has happened to me with the previous "translation", but is it normal for the game to freeze when you press status in the selection menu? I just go to menu and every option there loads fine except for the status menu. procedures before starting the game: Chose cheats 2x exp, 2x sp, and save anywhere. Created a new .sav. Went thru the game, did this and that, went thru the menu and pressed status which led to me hanging at a black screen. It's not a major problem for me if it doesn't require me to press status at anytime in the game, but it sorta irks me that it's there.
The game work fine when you open the status menu. Those cheats you use might cause some problem. What kind of flashcart that you use ? Maybe you need to update the firmware of it.
dstt 1.17a12 with updated files, i formatted it before i started. it's probably the cheats so i guess i'm going to have to make a new .sav :\
just turn of the cheats i don't know anything about dstt but don't make a new one just turn the cheats off.
