Well Ive been playing the game pretty flawlessly but until the point where i reach Inferia City and the second screen straight ahead where it lags like crazy. not sure why it happened. it lags so much hat i can barely move and probably takes 5 minutes to get off screen. It seems that this is the only area so far its happened. I'm using epsxe 1.6.0 and the video plugin P.E.Op.S OpenGL Driver 1.78 and have the configurations set on nice. Ive tried changing the configuration to fast but still get the same problem. Any help will be appreciated.
Use the latest 1.7.0 version. http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=8528.0 As well get the latest plugins for the emulator, http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=600.0 I recommend using Pete's OpenGL2 Driver if you have the OpenGL compatible graphic card.
I'm trying but it says i have a system error and that the program can't start because zlib1.dll is missing from my computer. Post Merge: [time]1273612568[/time] alright i was able to set everything up with the epsxe 1.7 emulator but it still lags.
Which graphic plugins did you use? Perhaps more info about your PC specs? Try using the 'Fast' option.
