    So what do you think?
An actual impending epidemic, or another swine flu scare?

I heard about that on the news months ago.

They say that they are no more contagious than any other germ that your body fights off, and if you practice good hygiene, you most likely won't get them.

I would not go to India, because of the slums over there. I remember watching "Slumdog Millionaire"

This proves how successful bacteria, protists, fungi and viruses are, and indirectly, small invertebrates. They can mass reproduce for accelerated evolution. It was always them that were the most successful, not dinosaurs or humans or amphibians. But humans might discover this thing that is still just an aspect named 'nanobots' or something like that; these are bacteria-based, possibly fertile robots that will go in to humans and take out all the bad stuff. They are still far from being successfully made, though. And I don't know how they will get energy to operate; if it gets energy from the waste heat the human body radiates, I think it might contradict thermodynamics.
