Hey, this is my first post, so be gentle :)

I just noticed that 7dayshop.com are selling SD cards really cheap at the moment, and I guess I wanted to know if the Supercard SD has a limit on the size SD card it accepts, cos I wanted to get a 4gb one for 17 quid, but I wasn't sure if it would work with the SC. Does anyone with this gizmo know?
I have tried google, but it's not very helpful, and assumed one or two of you may know.

    Thanks alot guys.

i do believe it will recognize. but i'm 50/50 because i'm using neoflash or something like that as a reference. i know that neoflash has a maximum of 4gbytes.

It should read if the card is newer.. but I wouldn't recommend using 1 4gb for games. I recommend having like 2 2GB or 4 1Gb. Yes.. you have more cards, but if you lose one.. you'll still have the games on the others where if you lose the 4gb card.. all your games will be gone. And also you can separate the files based on eah card.. one card for music and th player, one for roms, one for picture and one for documents

    Just my two cents

If anyone wants to know, the origional Slot 1 Supercard will take up to 2 Gigs.
The new Supercard that is compatilbe with (HCSD) will take the 4 Gig micro SD. Believe me I tested it.

I personally would rather have one 4 Gig card for all my media on the DS rather than multiple cards, plus I back my saves up pretty often.

I usually have my DS on me with the cartridge and SD intact.

Also one other thing, I know this was posted about a year ago and memory prices change but I found a 4 giger micro sd for about $40 with a $10 mail in rebate!

So I basically got it for $35 with the 3 day UPS shipping for $5, works mint btw

    ....new egg

    ....google folks

Such a big memory card won't lag up your DS?

Seek time on hard disks is minimal, even in the largest capacities, so considering that solid state media is tens, if not hundreds of times faster than a hard disk, I doubt there would be a noticable difference.
