Do I need to patch GBA games to work with it?

Yes, there should be patching software with the firmware.

What? I have to manually patch over 100 games? :'(

My M3 was easier; it would accept the DS games unpatched.

The SuperCard is a slot2 card, since it goes in the gameboy advance slot it doesn't have natural code execution abilities. It's probably a clever hack that enables it to run NDS ROMs at all.

Actually I have my SuperCard for GBA games only. I'm still using the M3 for DS, so would I need to patch the .gba files too?

I have absolutely no idea about that, either experiment yourself or wait for someone else to answer. :)

Yeah, my card isn't here yet but should be here soon. I have it coming on EMS (Express Mail International) from New Jersey and the micro SD is coming from Hong Kong so that's gonna take a bit longer.
