Super slowness

    The site is suddenly very slow

    Every time I try to go on the main I get forwarded to http://www.jmeeri.com/


    And I frequently run in one of these messages

    • The MySQL database server is currently unavailable, please try again in a minute or two.
    • 504 Gateway Time-out
      nginx/0.7.41
    • Connection Problems
      Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

    It's totally horrible.

    Im having some problems as well. I did a tracert to see where the problem lay and it was unable to resolve on the site name but was fine using the IP address so this seems to be a problem with DNS.

    DNS provider is having issues, we're looking for an alternative one.

    We haven't done anything though, we can't do anything about it once the problem are there, but we can work to prevent it in the future.

    The site is working zippity-doo-dah for me. There was a point earlier where FireFox wouldn't connect and gave that "could not find URL" blah-blah, but I just figured it was that I tried to connect during a maintenance or update period or something. I usually don't sweat little hang-ups like that unless it goes on for over a day.

    In other words, I wasn't worried. ;D
