How come I can't download as fast as I used to when downloading from Romulation My speed is 100 kb/s but can only use 1-2 kb/s
Depends on where in the world you are and what time of the day you try to download. At the moment the EU server is at about 65% of what it usually does at it's most busiest period and the NA server has plenty left still as well.
Nothing we can do about it, the web is a dynamic place, you can download a file today at 10kb/s and then tomorrow at 200kb/s. It depends on what way the connection travels and all the switches and routers in-between. The only way we can improve the speed is by getting a server closer to you, but that's not financially viable at the moment.
In theory you will get relatively better speeds from the EU server, however theory does not always prove true in practice.
