when I start it up after downloading it it says "Your saved data is corrupted." How can I get this game to work?

It did the startup gameboy advance thing at first but than it went back to "Your Saved Data is Corrupted." I did everything it said but still didn't work. Anything else?

Ok, so have you got all the files in that thread? After getting them here's what you do, first go to your VBA's save files Folder. Delete every instance of Super Mario Advance 4 on the Folder (as this maybe causing the problem). After which try loading the game again, it should now show you the screen that says "Formating Save data", if not reply to this thread again.

I've never saved a game yet, and where is the save game folder so I can check anyways?

The save is generally created in the save directory as the played ROM, when a save has been confirmed to be created in the game.

Even if you haven't saved in game, a .sav file will always be created by the emulator whenever you load a game that uses save data, like Super Mario Advance 4.

Yes, I was meaning when it has written the code into the .save file.
