So, here go to my first review: SUPER CASTLEVANIA IV!!!! I really love that masterpiece because is not SUCKS like the other castlevanias (I, II and III). MUSIC: 10 - It's really fantastic hear the music of this game. SUPER!! The music of the final levels is a remake of the first castlevanias. GRAPHICS: 10 - Again 10 because he uses all of super nintendo power graphic support. CONTROLS: 10 (again!) - If you played Contra (NES), you see the perfect controls of the Simon Belmont. HE CAN DANCE LIKE MICHAEL JACKSON!!!!! In the stairs hit the bottom for you go up (or down) and hit the bottom of the opposite direction (like up and left or down and right) HISTORY: 8 - This game received 8 for the history because is the same piece a ****. The Dracula resurrect and you, Simon Belmont, need defeat him. DIFFICULTY: 10 - The difficulty is like you trying to fly with drunken horse and a spider pig. Or translating: IS REALLY HARD. Ok, ok, the final boss is really easy, but you can try again from beginning and the game really starts to stink. SO, HERE HAVE THE FINAL NOTE:48/50 ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNND here have now my second review: Castlevania Dracula X MUSIC: 9- All the musics of this game are remakes from the others Castlevanias games. GRAPHICS: 10- Well created from the time. But really need that burned village? CONTROLS: 5- Is a ******* SUCKS. The Super Castlevania haves 8 directions to use with the whip, but in this game, he regressed to only 2 directions. is like today you have 20 years and tomorrow you have 150 years! HISTORY: 8- Same old stuff (Dracula resurrects and you need defeat him), but this time, he presents a new Belmont: RICHTER BELMONT (yeah, that guy from Symphony of the Night). DIFFICULTY: 3- Is the easiest Castlevania you ever see (only losing from the Castlevania II: Simon's Quest). Only the last boss are a little difficult, but not a problem. SO, HERE HAVE THE FINAL NOTE: 35/50 My final commentary: The Super Castlevania IV is really one of the best Castlevanias ever made (only losing from Symphony of the Night), but the Dracula X, i don't have words from this piece a ****.
Super Castlevania IV is not that hard, its challenging in some spots but I had a easier time with it than I did with Castlevaina I and III but it is a classic Castlevaina game in my book and a favorite. Dracula X (SNES) is a very watered down and horrible port of the classic Dracula X Circle of Blood (Akumajo Dracula X Chi no Rondo) for the PC Engine Super CD-ROMĀ² and is a prequel to Symphony of the Night thus the reason Richter is the protagonist. All in all you need to add some more info and you shouldn't make it so one sided even though your opinion does count, but not everyone is going to agree with you and it needs some screen shots.
Good lord. I'll just copy and paste what I said in other reviews. Also, read the sticky in this section.
this post is old but... are you kidding me castlevania IV better than the previously NS series? well if you said that because the SNES is more advanced than the NES (obviously) yes but its not the best castlevania however your review its not that bad, is just that in my opinion, you adored that game more than the necessary XD
