a notification system that is different from the email one, something similar to your messages, but rather that says 'suggestions (#)' so you dont have to search all around for your topic, and can simply click an other suggestion is soemthing akin to neoseeker myneoforum, basically a page dedicated to see which post you have made and where you've done them.
my best guess is he wants something that when you make a post it analyses the content and flags up potentially relevant threads.
let me put it like this: that there is a separate section under your account where you can keep track of which topics you've been, you posted,etc. and a separate method of giving you advice that some one, has quoted or given a reply in where your name comes up, ill try to get some pics of what im talking about
