it's an actual strategy card game [like how you play dungeons and dragons or yugioh card games] except it is placed on the television with the use of an accessory similar to the eyetoy. it also uses some sort of a playing field. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/822/822482p1.html the au [australian] price is 160 and it'll probably cost near that price around the us. it'll probably cost the same as guitar hero for xbox 360, which i believe is 90 dollars or 100 dollars around there. in a way i see it as a failure because it requires you to buy additional cards [monster and booster cards]. the game will include 30 cards mixed with monster and booster cards, but i'll more then likely include typical or weak cards. what a marketing scheme. they said that you can collect 100 cards, but then again they may up that number for more varieties and such, just like what they did to yugioh and pokemon.
So it's like magic the gathering except you can play it over the Internet? That's sounds awesome, too bad I'm too cheap to actually buy cards and such, had it been a one time purchase and then get cards in other ways then I'd probably do it.
True, but it opens up the card game world to a lot of people, currently your only option for playing such card games is either to find some friends with that or join clubs. Obviously there aren't clubs everywhere and it might get tedious to play the same people all the time. So it's definitely got potential for people who're interested in that sort of gaming, though I doubt it will bring many new players to the game who haven't already tried the genre.
