they call it streetball cause its played outdoors or in the streets everythings the same except for the basketball court which may be smaller or the basketball board may be concave not rectangular and most use an outdoor basketball if an indoor basketball is used the grip usually rubs out because of the rough texture of the ground/cement. oh and one more thing NO RULEZ IS Z ONLY RULE spider dribbling hanging on the rim for more than 10 secs...
Ummm.. skillz? Uh, I would go for the Cross over's like mad and break there ankles (Metaphorically). There's lots of stuff.. Spin is good too, when your posting up on a guy, spin around him then go up. Crossing over and fading = Pure win if you have a nice shot..
I like this one(it always works):You just dripple the ball between your legs,after a moment the defender will come closer and closer,then having the ball on the left(i'm not a leftie,but a right handed)pass to the right and quickly pass the ball over you(your back) and the defender..Then continue ''drippling''(without the ball,the ball has gone in the front)..If you do it right the defender will lost,it,Anyway go to the Tube and watch!!!!!
I'm not a fan of street ball eiter, becuase when i'm playing im always getting embarrased by the off-the heezy shit. But its fun to watch.
I used to be on my schools basketball team, I use to be good till i fucked up my arm playing, I fell over and cut my arm on the curb it was a really huge deep cut, there was blood all over my clothes, and that gentleman was the end of my career.
It's not the most dangerous outdoor sport, as long as you know how to play you won't be the one getting hurt ;D
Thats not true at all. You can get hurt even if you know what your doing. Stats even show that the most poeple taken to the hospital for sports related injury was due to Outdoor basketball.
