Maybe allow streaming of videos from sites, or games from sites in forum posts? I've seen this in other forums. Not sure if it slows down the forum in any way though.
Allowing flash is a security risk, we'd have to get a BBC tag to only allow certain hosts such as youtube. That's Loony's job though.
it would as the site/forum is hosted on a slow connection. The eventual plan is to add gameplay video to the game description page.
I figured it was the ability to embed off-site flash videos right? We can probably find a mod at the SMF site that adds a BBC tag.

You guys do know that there are people who access the Forum via 56k dial up modem do you? If you allow video streaming those guys may not be able to log on or post or whatever
