Strange...Very Strange

A while ago i downloaded GTA Chinatown Wars to my old R4 card but it kept freezing when I tried to start the game. Back then I didn't know that No$GBA was a computer emulator and people said it worked on it so I downloaded it onto my R4 card. From then on I had no problems, why was this??

 

Very weird, strange indeed! You may discovered something new, young man! Maybe this will work with Mario & Luigi BIS too! Maybe the emulator has something to hide, that it will work on R4 and the R4 uses the files... I try too with some games! Let you hear the results...

With the old R4 original from www.r4ds.com , You will not have many problems with the YSmenu, Not even non patched roms!

This is exactly what I did: I searched the forums and people said that it worked with NO$GBA so thinking it was a patch and not a emulator I downloaded it onto my R4 and it worked fine. Since then I got a differenrt flashcard and the game worked fine on it without any fixes needed.

I'm just really curious why that happened, does anyone know?

I'm not sure what firmware I had at the time, but i downloaded from the R4i website as it told me to in the email it sent me. But it did not state which firmware it was.

 

As in firmware version, like 1.14 or something.
