Please just to check, is there any new way to play gba roms on the dsi? no costum firmware for dsi? the sd card slot is still useless? no way to load the dsi into legacy mode to reach the 16mb of ram memory? no linker besides supercard dstwo and iplayer can load gba roms on dsi??

The DSTwo has the better emulator. It's an improved version of the iPlayer emulator. If you're considering the purchase of one of the two for that purpose, the DSTwo is the way to go. Otherwise, no, there are no other ways. The DSi is very limited due to the lack of a slot 2.

There won't be CFW on the DSi. The DSi hacking scene was barely alive to begin with, and it's basically dead now.

the chances of that happening are very slim the security may be easy to bypass with flash cards but custom firmware like the psp wont happen but it would be good to see somebody try

There was an emulator that could run GBA games on the DSi in DSi mode, but nothing really came of it.
Besides, it could only run the assigned GBA homebrew. Everything else was kinda shitty.
