    Hi guys, I'd be really appreciated if someone could help be figure out what's funky with my supercard. I recently got it for Christmas and I've used a Supercard before (A MiniSD to be precise), but got a microSD because its bigger, and the MiniSD isn't exactly mine.

    I have a completely new Red DS Lite.
    And the Supercard ware that I have is:
    A Super Key and a SuperCard MicroSD Lite http://www.gamersection.ca/product_info.php?cPath=30_35&products_id=291
    And a Kingston 2GB MicroSD http://www.gamersection.ca/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=25&products_id=594

    This is how it went down:

    Downloaded the latest Firmware (V1.85) and patched it onto my empty Supercard, then I downloaded the latest Software patcher (V2.68). I then downloaded 'Fire Emblem DS - Shadow Dragon' (European release) and 'Time Hollow' (American release).

    And then things get yucky. I started to play Fire Emblem (after getting past that stupid battle glitch that everyone gets at the beginning), and then saved my game. Then I played some Time Hollow and saved that too. I turned off my DS and opened it later to play again.

    My saves weren't saved.

    For some reason, none of my saves are staying, no matter how many times I save a slot in Time Hollow or Fire Emblem, regardless of if I turn the DS off or not, it says its saved, but there's no saved slot there.

    Where did I go wrong? D,: Could someone please help me? All of my stuff are completely new, and I have no clue whats happening. (I could have sworn I was doing everything right...) Wrong firmware? Am I lacking something? I've been looking everywhere, but I'm a simple person who can't understand tech babble. XD'

    Hope I gave enough info. ;_;

    Also, (if I ever get this to work) does anyone know if it's possible to transfer the game files from my old MiniSD to my new MicroSD?

    Try backing up, reformat, and reinstall the latest firmware from http://www.linfoxdomain.com/ds/. If that doesn't work, try emailing the Supercard team about it. About your last thing, yes, just convert using http://www.shunyweb.info, if it's needed.

    Thanks for the fast reply!

    So I downloaded the firmware from the site, put the folder with the firmware on my DS, and the folder doesn't show up. D: I've done this twice now, with the same results.

    (Sorry I'm full of fail. XD)

    Oh my god, now I did something stupid. D:

    I figured that the original firmware I downloaded was faulty and screwed up my ds somehow, so I downloaded the 'supercard_microsd_lite_firmware_recovery.zip' from http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/.

    I did it, then something counted from 1 to 7 and some more random stuff loaded. It did that 3 times before I just figured it was useless and I turned off my ds.
    When I turned my ds back on, I got two blank screens. I earsed the new files from my ds and still got two blank screens, I put something new on my ds and still got two blank screens.

    Oh frigate, I really hope I didn't fry my Supercard...pleeease tell me I didn't fry it. ;_;

    Delete everything, reformat, and put a fresh copy of the actual firmware on. Not the recovery.

    Still nothing, two white screens of death. Reformatted it twice. D: (At least...in the way I think I did. Went to My Computer and pressed "Format")

    It's not the Superkey I don't think, and the Supercard itself is only there to give the Micro access to the DS, right?

    My friend was comparing hers to mine, and when I took the Superkey out and turned my DS on it went to the normal menu screen.

    It said 'No Game Pack(GB) inserted'. But for hers when she did the same it said there was.

    (Also, if in the case I have to replace the Micro, which I hope I don't, will any Micro work? Like:

    Hey, Anandjones. I don't know the details behind the file systems required on the cards, but if Hamano is formatting the card NTFS and it requires FAT32, could that be causing some problems?

    Yes it should be formatted to any FAT.

    U-uh....

    Could you please elaborate on it? A short explanation perhaps?

    open my computer with the microSD connected and make a note of the drive letter used by the microSD (herein referred to as 'M:')

    open the start menu, choose 'run' and when the run box comes up, type 'cmd' (no quotes) and press OK.

    In the command prompt window, type the following (Without the quotes): 'format M: /FS:FAT32' (replace M: with your microsd drive letter followed by a colon). press enter and wait for it to finish. Once done, reinstall the firmware and your games.

    Thanks again, and I did it. But I still get two white screens. D: Do you know what might be wrong with my DS? Would it be the DS itself, the SuperKey, the Supercard, or the Micro if I were to replace anything?

    (I can format as FAT instead of FAT32, will that do anything different?)
