is there a way to change my startup programs? I've got too many and it takes like 15 minutes for all the programs to load..

Sure there is, click Start and then Run. Type in msconfig and then click the startup tab. Then enable and disable your startup programs.

you might also want to consider a small program called 'startup control panel' by a guy named 'mike lin'. This adds itself to your control panel and gives you quick and easy access to startup programs, and allows you to see where they are loading from. I use it myself.
