As the light from your monitor screen captured by your eyes tells you what the topic is,please answer and do not afraid to give out what's in your mind and put it in a written form. What i do know very well is:Square Enix produce a few decent games,a very few more great games and the rest is abomination. The world ends with you-great but handheld. FF remakes-great but handheld Kingdom Hearts series-Decent FF XIII-quite good actually but it's missing the magic. The magic of FF.Therefore it fails to carry the legacy . Squaresoft=God
I'm currently playing and enjoying FFXIII. I enjoyed the remakes of older games like 3, 4, and CT, Squeenix is fine to me.
Well enjoy man. However, that does not mean you can just say:Hey i need no new Chrono game,no new Xenogears or a truly epic FF...And music the damn music..where is the melody?
When Squaresoft became Square Enix, there was definitely a decrease in production value. I mean, look at this flat out amazing list of games produced by Square: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Square_games Now, look at this not as amazing list of games: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Square_Enix_games There is a fairly obvious decline from the time Squaresoft became Square Enix.
Also my Cactuar-do not forget the music!!!Squaresoft music is top notch!!!Remember FF VI-Overworld?Chrono trigger-Corridors of time?Chrono Cross-Scar of Time,Dream of Shore?FF IX-Dali Village?FF X-Silence before the storm,To Zanarkand?
YES.Nobuo Uematsu and Yashunori Mitsuda.Gods, i tell you... FF 12 and FF 13 are not composed by Uematsu but somebodies... Mitsuda is probably the best when it comes to "melodic tunes-music that really evokes emotion".
Both are fine for me. Although I admit when they was only Square, they made a lot of better games. But Square Enix have some good games too. I like some games such as Crisis Core, Drakengard, Radiata stories, etc.
Enix is not Square Enix. You're wrong they have been in financial difficulties for few years now.FF XIII isn't impressive condsidering it's multiplatform.(it cost a lot to make such a game)
Square-Enix saved many of Enix's RPG series, It's actually weird because Dragon Quest 8 was just great but FFXIII was a letdown. Also, they produced the two Star Ocean games but what about sequels to our favorite Square games. They could be great again if only they would release more quality games, their number of PS2 releases don't even come close to their PS1 releases, and that doesn't even take into account the startling lack of XBOX 360 RPGs.
>Square Enix >Enix http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enix Like I said, no matter what game they will make, they will gain profit from it. FFXIII for example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_XIII#Reception tri-Ace produced Star Ocean, Square Enix/Enix just published it.
Sales is not total profit. You have to consider development cost as well.Especially with X-box 360 and PS3-cost is high.5.5 million-unimpressive considering it's multiplatform and FF.Past FF sold 5million+ as well but they aren't multiplatform. Plus, that 5.5 million units is FF XIII.Their flagship, not whatever game they decide to make.Try other games or non-main series FF...the sales won't reach that much.
Attacking one's weakness is not a way to answer one's argument. Also, its not that you can't understand what i wrote.
