For some reason, this game just won't start for me. I run it but nothing really happens. I tried using P.E.O/P.s Soft Driver 1.18 and OpenGL2 Driver 2.9, I even tried renaming the file to .img, .bin or .iso and nothing worked. At first I got it at .img.something I forgot, but it wouldn't even pop up in ePSXe's menu. If anyone has any pointers on how to make it work it would be really nice.

This is what i used to play the game:

    EMULATOR: ePSXe 1.7.0

    BIOS: SCPH1001.BIN
    VIDEO: Pete's D3D Driver 1.77
    SOUND: Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41
CDROM: ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.7.0

Still no luck, using exact same ones as you. Maybe it's the file itself? Mine is called Spyro the Dragon 2 - Ripto's Rage [NTSC-U] [SCUS-94425].bin (note that I changed it to .bin hoping it would bring better results). What extension did yours have?

I downloaded it in a pack with 3 extensions:
    .CCD
    .BIN
    .IMG

Did you download it from this site?

Sadly no, it's not available anymore, just like a lot of roms I tried getting. I did get .CUE, .SUB and .IMG.ECM extensions though.

the .img.ecm one is compressed and must be uncompressed before it can be used. try google using 'ecm decompressor' as the search term.
