sprite sheet help

im making a megaman zero 4 sprite sheet how can i line all of the sprites up exactly straight like







see all evenly aligned


anyone?

 

draw a line under all the sprites and place the sprites on it.

 

Not working looks very sloppy

 

Use photoshop, make a new layer then put 1pt black lines to make them order. Then make new layer for put the sprite. After finish, delete the layer that contains 1pt black lines.

 

ugggggggggggggggggggh i dont have photoshop is it free? if so where can i get it?

 

Use paint? They are sprites after all.

 

thats where i put my ripped sprites but i cant line them all up like in good sprite sheets

 

PS is not free, however there is a program called GIMP which is free and is similar to PS, maybe that could help?
