"Using NDS software" The following functions are n olonger available to NDS software titles played on 3ds systems. street pass notifications transfer of data via spotpass friends list, notifications, game notes and other home menu functionality For details see owners manual. So what does this actually mean for us?
Seems to mean that old NDS games can no longer use those features. The message implies that new 3DS games can still use them.
But those functions wont work to the full if you don't update... Its just ds software anyway, if you play 3ds they'll work fine.
