Spend more points to download faster

    I was thinking introducing a system where when you go to download page you can download additional file but it would cost you more points. If you have one download going then it would cost you 3x points another would cost you 6x points and another 9x points.

    For 10x points per download plus 1000 points to activate you can increase you download speed to 400Kb/s.

    NOTE: point value is to give an example and should change that fits the server the best

    faster download speeds cost us more money. We give you points for free, so by allowing this we would lose money.

    Seriously, is the IIRC 250KB/S speed limit REALLY too slow? My internet rarely even hits 80KBps!

    Same thing with me, thats the only reason I haven't bought Premium Membership yet, my net doesn't even go that fast!

    Not really that hard a problem to solve... The answer is still no, though, this would undermine premium membership.

    I totally agree with you. But if they were to follow this suggestion, then they would be getting a lot more speed issues and they would have to buy better server and connection. So, thats what would actually cost them money. Capice?

    Just wait. I don't download everytime a new U or J rom is released, but I'm still trying to get Premuim Membership thru trialpay....now.... which offer doesn't ask for money....

    is that really the limit? cause my download speed goes all the way up to 270 - 280 kbps.

    it doesn't, the program you're downloading with isnt counting accurately.
