I was derping around the internet and came across a particularly interesting piece of information that some isps throttle your internet while visiting websites that use cached videos like youtube.

Originally it was discovered to work on TWC. Whether or not it works for other ISP's I don't know. I am on an At&t dsl box and it *seems* to have helped. But it could be just wishful thinking on my part. If anyone can confirm it for other isps that would be great! In particular Loony would be *extremely* helpful :D

Is there any way you could test it objectively?

If this is true and it does speed up my youtube experience, I'm on board.

I know it works for those with TWC (time warner cable)

    Oh my.
    It worked.

A suggestion on how to test.
Open YouTube, goto here and change the quality to 720p and see how long it takes to load.

Then do the command and try again. Mine was about 3x as fast.

Well people should try it and post their results.. If it doesn't work then they can just delete the rule.
